The Building & Safety Division provides plan checking, permitting, and inspection services for new construction, additions, remodels and alterations, and demolitions. On this website, you’ll find the information you need to apply for a building permit, request an inspection, and obtain basic code guidelines and direction.
Permit Center
The Permit Center is generally open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed on holidays). Permit technicians, plans examiners, planners, engineers and development coordinators are available to help you during these times. Submit your building permit application on the West Jordan Public Portal by clicking the ‘Apply Online’ button below.
