Here&#8217;s a helpful checklist to keep in mind as you navigate through the month:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>City Closure:<\/strong> Temporary City Hall and various city facilities will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd, and Friday, November 24th, in observance of Thanksgiving. Be sure to plan accordingly for any city-related business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support Local on Small Business Saturday:<\/strong> Saturday, November 25th, marks Small Business Saturday. Take the opportunity to support local West Jordan businesses. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exercise Your Right to Vote:<\/strong> Don&#8217;t forget that Election Day is on November 21st. It&#8217;s crucial to make your voice heard by voting for your representative. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westjordan.utah.gov\/elections\/2023-candidates\/\">Check out this<\/a> list of local West Jordan candidates. Find additional election information, including drop box locations and in-person voting centers, <a href=\"https:\/\/chat.openai.com\/c\/insert-link\">her<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/slco.org\/clerk\/elections\/\">e<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Garbage Collection:<\/strong> Garbage collection will be paused on Thursday, November 23rd. For those whose regular pickup day falls on Thursday or Friday, collection will be postponed by one day. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Green Waste Collection Deadline:<\/strong> The last full week of November signals the end of green waste collection for 2023. Ensure that all your green waste is in your can before the specified date on your regular garbage day.
