That means residents usual garbage day will be delayed by one day AFTER Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example \u2013 if your garbage day would normally fall on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, your garbage will be picked up Wednesday, July 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 2023. If your garbage day would normally fall on a Wednesday (July 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 2023) it will then be picked up Thursday (July 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 2023) and so on for the rest of the week. For residents whose garbage day falls on a Friday \u2013 their garbage will be picked up on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following week will be back on a regular schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading h3\"><strong>Redwood Road Closure:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Redwood Road will close Tuesday, July 4th from 10 AM &#8211; 1 PM from 7000 South to 8100 South for the annual Grand Parade. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes during the closure. The parade begins at 10:30 AM and will wrap up around 12:30 PM. City crews will remain in the street following the end of the parade to clean up any debris. For more information on Western Stampede events in West Jordan (July 1-4), visit <a href=\"https:\/\/westernstampede.com\/\">westernstampede.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading h3\">City Facilities\/Buildings Closed:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All city buildings will be closed Tuesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Offices will reopen Wednesday, July 5th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Western Stampede festivities take place July 1 &#8211; 4 at Veterans Memorial Park &#8211; expect heavy traffic around the area.
