A record-breaking 2,000 of us furry (and not-so-furry) friends found our way to the West Jordan Animal Shelter this year! That includes nearly 400 kittens \u2014 another record!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year the shelter hosts a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westjordan.utah.gov\/calendar\/event\/holiday-for-the-animals-4\/\">Holiday for the Animals donation drive<\/a>. Thanks to your generosity, we&#8217;ve been living the good life with full bellies, cozy beds, and all the toys we can dream of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re cared for by the West Jordan Police Department, who provide us with our basic needs. But, your generous donations are the cherry on top of our kibble. Your gifts make our time here more comfortable and fun as we wait for a forever home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re not sure why 2024 was a record breaking year, but we\u2019re guessing it\u2019s the beginning of many more paws and claws walking through these doors. We&#8217;d love for every future guest to enjoy the same comfort we&#8217;ve had \u2014 with all the food and toys their hearts can handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a list of the things every animal needs when they come to stay:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cats<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Adult cat food, wet or dry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kitten food, wet or dry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Treats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tunnels, tents or beds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toys, feather teasers, fluffy mice, crinkle balls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cat scratching post<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Litter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dogs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Adult dog food, wet or dry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Puppy food, wet or dry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Treats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dog beds or blankets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toys and bones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tough chew toys<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leashes and collars<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Or, you can send things right to our kennel doors with this <a href=\"https:\/\/a.co\/5lcatyn\">Amazon Wish-list<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With tails wagging and purrs galore,<br>The Dogs, Cats, Reptiles, Rabbits, Birds (and more!) at the West Jordan Animal Shelter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P.S.
