Project Overview:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
West Jordan is upgrading the water lines along 1300 West, between 7000 S and 7800 S, by replacing old residential pipes with a larger one. This enhancement will improve service reliability and support the city’s growth by strengthening the water infrastructure. This project is expected to be complete by Winter 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What to Expect:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Construction and Equipment:<\/strong> Starting the last week of May, crews will begin construction on removing the old water pipes and replacing them with a new, larger pipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lane closures and changes:<\/strong> Crews will be working within the road, forcing lane closures and traffic changes. Please follow posted signs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Water Outages:<\/strong> Temporary water shutoffs will occur. You will receive 48 hours notice unless there\u2019s an emergency. If your water is off for longer than the notification suggested please call: 801-569-5700.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Work Hours:<\/strong> Construction will primarily occur during the day, with some night work possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
