While walk-ins are welcome, appointments will still be prioritized and wait times may be 10-15 minutes.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westjordan.utah.gov\/passport\/\">Be sure to bring all the required documents<\/a>\u00a0for your passport application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westjordan.utah.gov\/passport\/fingerprinting-services\/\">Fingerprinting for Concealed Weapons Permits:<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>Applicants can receive up to three fingerprint cards for $15. Each additional card will cost $5.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Photos for Passports and Concealed Weapons Permits:<\/strong>&nbsp;Available for $15.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Know Before You Go<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Each application must be accompanied by a separate check or a Money Order. A money order may be purchased on site from the city.&nbsp;(Money Orders are only available for payment to the US Department of State.)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please have your applications filled out, in black ink, prior to coming to your appointment. A money order may be purchased on site from the city. <strong>(Money Orders are only available for payment to the US Department of State.)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid picture ID\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00b7 Current drivers license<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00b7 Aircraft pilot\u2019s license<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00b7 Official military ID card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00b7 Parent\u2019s identification for a child\u2019s passport (under the age of 16)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy of your ID (front and back).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of Citizenship\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00b7 Original government-issued birth certificate (hospital issued birth certificates are not accepted)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00b7 Original Certificate of Naturalization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00b7 Original Certificate of Citizenship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00b7 Previous U.S. Passport Book or Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00b7 A copy of the front and back of your citizenship document<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Passport Photos:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of West Jordan can take your passport photo.&nbsp;<strong>There is a cost of $15 each (plus tax), payable to The City of West Jordan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Photo requirements include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One passport photo is required with each application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The photo must have been taken within the last six (6) months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pictures must be in color and on a white background<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pictures must be a 2&#215;2\u201d square<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional Information:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All applicants (including children) must be present when applying for a passport.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children under the age of 16, must be accompanied by both parents\/guardians. Children 16 and 17 must have one parent\/guardian present. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All applicants under 18 need to provide their birth certificate to show parental\/guardian relationship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social Security numbers must be provided for all passport applicants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Passport Book is used for international travel by air, land and sea.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Passport Card is only valid when entering the U.S. by land and sea from Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and Bermuda. It is NOT valid for international air travel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications take 4-6 weeks to be processed and Expedited applications can take between 2-3 weeks to be processed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have submitted your application, check the status of your passport application on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/passports\/need-passport\/status.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. Department of State website<\/a>.
