In 2024, we celebrated many milestones, including breaking ground on our new community and arts center, expanding Ron Wood Regional Park, and hosting events that brought our community even closer. Just last week, we opened the 8600 S. bridge, improving connectivity and making travel easier across our city!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking ahead, we\u2019re focusing on enhancing public spaces, expanding community programs, and creating even more opportunities for neighbors to connect. Events such as the upcoming Small and Tall Ball and the future opening of the community and arts center to provide places to gather, celebrate, and make lasting memories as we improve on quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>West Jordan thrives because of you\u2014our residents\u2014and your involvement is key to our success. I encourage you to get involved in 2025:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westjordan.utah.gov\/newsroom\/2025\/01\/volunteer-west-jordan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Join a city committee to help shape our future.<\/a>\u200b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share your feedback through community surveys, watch for them in your email!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westjordan.utah.gov\/volunteer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Volunteer at events or programs that strengthen our neighborhoods.<\/a>\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for making West Jordan a fantastic place we call home. I look forward to working with you!
