A public hearing will be held before the West Jordan City Council on Wednesday, April 24, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, 8000 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84088. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain citizen input on the use of Community Development Block Grant funds for Program Year 2024 and approval of the Program Year 2024 Annual Action Plan. Proposals for use of the funds have been received and reviewed by the West Jordan CDBG committee. The committee has made the following recommendations for consideration by the City Council:

The funding levels shown in the Plan are estimated amounts. These amounts will be adjusted when the US Department of Housing and Urban Development has determined and announced actual grant amounts. The City of West Jordan will adjust the Draft amounts as following: Public services will be increased or decreased proportionally to meet the 15% cap. Housing programs will remain unchanged. CDBG administration will be increased or decreased to meet the 20% cap. Economic Development projects will remain unchanged. Neighborhood Infrastructure Project will be increased or decreased to meet the final allocation amount.
The Program Year 2024 Annual Action Plan, Analysis of Impediments, and 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan will be available for review and comment.
