NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE WEST JORDAN CITY
WEST JORDAN CITY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
- The WEST JORDAN CITY tax on a $496,000 residence would increase from $365.01 to $386.28, which is $21.27 per year.
- The WEST JORDAN CITY tax on a $496,000 business would increase from $663.65 to $702.34, which is $38.69 per year.
- If the proposed budget is approved, WEST JORDAN CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 5.79% above last year’s property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
