Declutter Responsibly: Recycle Your E-Waste and Shred Sensitive Documents This Saturday!
Out with the old! If you’ve got outdated electronics or stacks of paper cluttering your home, don’t just toss them—recycle them at West Jordan’s E-Waste & Shred Event this Saturday, February 8, 2025!
Why Recycle Electronics?
Electronic waste is one of the fastest-growing pollution sources in the world. Improper disposal—like tossing old gadgets in the trash—can lead to toxic chemicals leaking into the air, soil, and water. Recycling electronics helps recover valuable materials like copper, plastics, and precious metals, reducing the demand for newly mined resources and keeping our planet cleaner.
Protect Your Personal Information
Your old devices may hold more data than you think! Even if you’ve deleted files or performed a factory reset, sensitive information—like passwords, financial records, and personal details—can still be recovered. Recycling your electronics through a trusted program ensures your data is safely handled and destroyed, keeping it out of the wrong hands.
