Brightening the Arena: New LED Lights Shine at West Jordan Rodeo Grounds

The City recently completed the installation of new LED lights at the rodeo arena, replacing outdated vapor lamps. These upgraded lights are not only more energy-efficient but also bring dynamic lighting options to future events!

Funded through an energy savings grant, the seven new LED poles offer bright improvements over the old system. Unlike the vapor lamps, which needed a 20-minute cooldown before restarting, the LED lights can be turned on and off instantly.

They also integrate with the sound system, allowing for coordinated lighting effects while keeping the stands dark enough for comfortable viewing.
