City Offering Resource Courses for Spanish Speaking Community

West Jordan is excited to announce two upcoming events specifically designed to support our Spanish-speaking community. These events provide valuable resources and a chance to gain important skills while enjoying a day out with family and friends.

Driver License Resource Fair

Date: July 20
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: West Jordan High School, 8136 S Jaguar Drive

Join us for the Driver License Resource Fair! This event is perfect for anyone looking to learn about obtaining a Utah driver license or driving privilege card. We’ll also have information on passports, delicious food from local food trucks, various resource booths, and fun games for the kids. Additionally, there will be a special class taught in Spanish, making it easier for our Spanish-speaking residents to get the information they need.

CPR Class – Spanish Class

Date: July 20
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Station 53 in Jordan Landing, 7602 Jordan Landing Blvd., West Jordan, UT 84081

Our CPR course is designed to train citizens in CPR, AED, and First Aid use, following the American Heart Association Heartsaver® course. This class is an excellent introduction to these life-saving skills and provides an AHA certification card, valid for 2 years. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident in your abilities and ready to handle any emergency. Now available in Spanish, this course offers a fantastic opportunity for Spanish-speaking residents to get certified and make a difference in their community.
