Notice a futuristic-looking van cruising around West Jordan? This year, the city is on a mission to check up on all our roads. We’ve teamed up with Roadway Asset Services, LLC from Austin TX, to get the job done. These high-tech vans are equipped with all sorts of gadgets, including digital cameras, to snap photos of the pavement, helping us to keep track of what needs fixing.

These vans will only be out during daylight hours, updating y our pavement management program. We’ll use the data that these vans collect to determine which roads need to be repaired.
