The City of West Jordan is once again offering its residents a hassle-free way of disposing their real Christmas trees. From December 28th to January 31st, residents have the option to choose between curbside pickup or drop-off locations for their festive foliage.

Christmas Tree Drop Locations:

For the convenience of those who prefer a DIY approach, three designated drop-off locations are available:

1. Parking lot at the County Pool/Gene Fulmer Rec Center: 8125 S. 2200 W.
2. Parking lot of Constitution Park: Southeast corner of 3285 W. 7000 S.
3. South parking lot at the West Jordan Soccer Complex: West side of 4000 W. ~ 8070 S.

These drop-off locations will have 30-yard dumpsters, and Ace will manage the disposal, ensuring a smooth process for residents.

Curbside Pickup Details:

For those who opt for curbside pickup, there are two distinct periods to note:

1. Rear-load Truck Curbside Pickup (Driver throws tree into the truck): January 2 to January 12.
2. Normal Trash Truck Curbside Pickup: January 15 to January 31.

It’s important to mention that Ace will not pick up any tree over 10 feet tall unless it is cut in half to facilitate throwing it into the trash can. The city appreciates residents’ cooperation in this matter.
