New Disc Golf Course Opens in West Jordan

Disc golf enthusiasts and newcomers alike have a reason to celebrate today after West Jordan unveiled its latest addition – a brand new disc golf course (Teton Estates Park: 9380 Targhee Dr)! With nine carefully designed holes, this course is perfect for beginners and still challenging enough for seasoned players!

This course was thoughtfully designed to cater to all levels of disc golf players, providing them with a comfortable environment to learn and improve their skills. Each of the nine holes offers a manageable distance, allowing newcomers to focus on their technique and get a taste of the sport’s unique challenges.

One standout feature of this course is the concrete pads provided at each tee. These well-crafted and level surfaces offer stability and consistency, ensuring players have a solid foundation for their throws.

The course design is a testament to the city’s commitment to offering an enjoyable and diverse disc golf experience.

“This project would not be possible without our fantastic Parks Staff, as well as Scott Belchak with ElevateUT Disc Golf and Bob Bumgarner, a West Jordan Resident who has a passion for disc golf and donated his time and materials for this project,” said West Jordan Mayor Dirk Burton.

Whether you’re a beginner seeking a friendly introduction or a seasoned player looking for a quick round, this course caters to your needs! We’ll see you there!
