The Holidays WON’T impact your Garbage Day this Year

It’s one less thing to worry about this holiday season. Christmas and New Year’s Day will NOT impact your garbage day this year – but they will next year.
Why aren’t the holidays impacting my garbage day this year?
Christmas and New Year’s Day both fall on a Sunday this year. Sunday is a day where NO garbage is picked up, no matter the day.
Why will it impact my garbage day next year?
Christmas 2023 and New Year’s Day 2024 both fall on a Monday. That means residents usual garbage day will be delayed by one day.
For example – if your garbage day would normally fall on Monday, December 25th, 2023, your garbage will be picked up Tuesday, December 26th, 2023. If your garbage day would normally fall on a Tuesday (December 26th, 2023) it will then be picked up Wednesday (December 27th, 2023) and so on for the rest of the week. For residents whose garbage day falls on a Friday – their garbage will be picked up on Saturday.
The following week will be back on a regular schedule.
