Mayor’s Message – April 2025

Dear Residents,

You might’ve seen me at storytime recently—reading books and turning pages with some of West Jordan’s youngest residents. And just like a good story needs a strong beginning, middle, and end… so do our roads!

Spring marks the start of our annual Mill and Overlay projects—where we give cracked, tired roads a much-needed plot twist. We’re scraping off the old layers and laying down fresh asphalt to help your commute end happily ever after.

We’re also upgrading ADA ramps to make sure every chapter of our city’s journey is inclusive and accessible.

So, if you see road crews out and about, just remember—we’re not causing drama, we’re improving the pavement plotline! Thanks for turning the page with us as we write a smoother future for West Jordan.
