Kent Shelton grew up in Sandy and in Herriman. He was a Boy Scout as a teenager and with the help of his mom and dad (mostly his mom), he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Kent and his wife Jenni have lived in the same West Jordan home for over 26 years, where they are raising their seven children. Kent works as a commercial photographer. He also enjoys teaching an occasional photography class at the University of Utah and Ensign College.
