West Jordan is teaming up with County Library’s Viridian Event Center to offer ‘First Friday’ – a FREE event that will feature activities, a concert, and more!
Location: Viridian Event Center (8030 S 1825 W)
6 PM – S’mores, cookies, hot cocoa, and crafts
6:30 PM – Drone Show (time for drones is weather dependent, check back on day of by 12 PM for final call.)
6:45 PM – Santa Arrives
6:45 PM – 8 PM – Pictures with Santa
7:30 PM – Concert Begins, Musical guest: Valley Jazz Band

Can we take photos with Santa?
Yes, you can take photos with Santa. He and Mrs. Claus will be inside the Viridian Events Center for photos.

How much does this event cost?
All activities and treats are provided free of charge.
What is the age range for this event?
All ages! There will be s’mores, hot chocolate, crafts, and photos with Santa. Along with a Drone show and Holiday concert!
Will this event be held outside?
The event will be both outside and inside so pay attention to the weather reports and dress accordingly.
Where can I park?
The road around Veterans Memorial Park will be partially closed for the drone show, see parking locations.
Who is the Musical Guest?
The Valley Jazz Band was formed ten years ago by retired band leader and professional saxophonist, Lemoyne Taylor. Lemoyne devoted much of his career to performing with the Long Beach Municipal Band and Long Beach Big Band. He also performed with various bands for 15 years at Disneyland. He now resides in Salt Lake Valley. Lemoyne brings 35 years of experience teaching, arranging and performing. This top notch 10-piece band will be performing Mr. Taylors’ arrangements of Holiday favorites and jazz standards. Vocalist Bonnie Harris will be featured with the band. The music will have you tapping your toes in this fun filled concert.
