The City of West Jordan Emergency Management will be hosting its first Citizen Readiness Corps meeting for residents and those from surrounding communities that are interested in Emergency Preparedness. This is also the next step for those who have been CERT trained.

Our speaker will be Dr. R. Jeffery Maxfield, Professor, School of Public Services, College of Health and Public Services, Utah Valley University. The topic will be: “Lessons from Christchurch” with discussion on the earthquakes in New Zealand and what we can learn from them.
