Bike with the Mayor

Saturday, September 30th from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Meet at the parking lot of the Jordan River Trail
Decorate your bikes, participate in a bike parade, and bike with the Mayor on a designated route!
What can I expect at this event?
This FREE event starts at 9:30 AM near the picnic area of the Jordan River Parkway Trail on the North side of 7800 S. Kids can decorate their bikes for a bike parade along the trail and then a 3-mile bike with the Mayor will commence along a designated route.
What is the designated route?
Children’s Parade:
The Children’s parade will go north along the Jordan River Trail, starting at the picnic area on the north side of 7800 S.
Adult Route:
Children may join this route if parents are riding. This three-mile route begins at the picnic area, along the Jordan River Trail on the north side of 7800 S, and makes a large loop back. See map below.
Where can I park?
Visitors can park in the parking lot of the Jordan River Trail on the south side of 7800 S. or at the Historic Gardner Trax Station.
