Project Overview:

West Jordan is upgrading the water lines along 1300 West, between 7000 S and 7800 S, by replacing old residential pipes with a larger one. This enhancement will improve service reliability and support the city’s growth by strengthening the water infrastructure. This project is expected to be complete by Winter 2024.

What to Expect:

Construction and Equipment: Starting the last week of May, crews will begin construction on removing the old water pipes and replacing them with a new, larger pipe.

Lane closures and changes: Crews will be working within the road, forcing lane closures and traffic changes. Please follow posted signs.

Water Outages: Temporary water shutoffs will occur. You will receive 48 hours notice unless there’s an emergency. If your water is off for longer than the notification suggested please call: 801-569-5700.

Work Hours: Construction will primarily occur during the day, with some night work possible.
